Baron Balche

It begins in 1997 when Juan Ríos, current owner of Barón Balché, sets the goal of rebuilding the 32 hectares of a family-owned property with neglected vineyards. He takes his first steps by making homemade wine without any intention of selling or distributing it, and later he strengthens relationships with experts in the field while delving into the world of grapes. By 2001, the first five labels of Barón Balché are revealed: Zinfandel, Reserva Especial, Double Blanc, Grenache, and Tempranillo. Likewise, the year 2004 marks the start of the Premium wines, which are put on sale starting from 2008.
